Foggy Monday's are great for training.

Walking up to the cloudy light that has just filled my bedroom brings my feet to a stand. Knowing the weekend was filled with booze and nachos clarifies in mind how important a foggy Monday training day will be. The first 10 minutes on a treadmill can seem like an eternity when you have'nt worked out since Friday. Don't get me wrong, I am a trainer so working out comes to me as routinely as brushing your teeth. Though I am human, I enjoy the sweets and salts just as much as the next guy. So for today on this foggy cloudy Monday I begin my training day. The reason why this foggy cloudy Monday is such a good training day??? Your body has been overloaded with sugar, starches and fats from the weekend indulgences. Since your body can only use a small percentage of those fats for normal body function, the rest needs to be burned off so it does not store in the form of fatty deposits. The fun part, since your starch and sweet levels have been spiked you will actually have more energy when you work out, since you have an overload of glycogen in your body. I would not say that the best idea is to eat a donut and then go run. Just enjoy the weekend and run like hell on Monday, because Monday's my friend are cloudy foggy training days of joy.
